How does Compare work?

Each of you fills out the checklist privately on your own iPhone. When both sheets are finished, open the Compare screen on both phones in the same room, with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on. The phones find each other directly — no internet, no accounts. Nothing is shared until both of you tap Compare on your own phone.

The phones can't find each other

• Make sure both phones allowed Local Network access (Settings → Between Us → Local Network) and have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth turned on.
• Both phones need the Compare screen open at the same time.
• As a fallback, either partner can export their finished sheet (Done screen → "Export a copy of my answers"), AirDrop it, and the other can use "Import a sheet file instead" on the Compare screen.

Why is Compare locked?

Compare only unlocks once both sheets are fully finished — every card answered. That's deliberate: nobody's answers should be visible until both people have committed theirs.

How do I start over?

On the first screen, tap "Reset this phone's sheet". To remove a partner's sheet after a compare, use "Forget their sheet" on the Compare screen. Deleting the app removes everything.

Is my data private?

Yes — there is no server and the app collects nothing. See the privacy policy.
